Environment 1: What do you do to help protect the environment where you live, in your country and in the world?

Campaign groups (two famous ones are Greenpeace and WWF) try hard to get as many people interested in and aware of problems as they can. When lots of people want change, something usually happens. If nobody bothers, or everyone pretends it's all okay, then nothing gets done at all. Sooner or later, everyone will suffer — humans and many other animals.

Recycling stuff is a good way to take an active interest in our planet. Helping form your own local group to take a special interest in something that's not right in your area is another great way to help.
