Transport 1: How do you get to school each day?

If you walk or bike, you create no pollution at all. Travelling by bus or sharing a car with others causes some pollution but not nearly as much as everyone travelling in separate cars.

There's a problem here. Traffic is noisy, smelly and dangerous to you if you want to walk or cycle. So many well-meaning parents take their kids to school in the car for their own safety... and this makes even more dangerous and smelly traffic and traffic jams.

So how do people solve that one? How can they make it possible for school kids like you to take the healthy option (bike, walk, run if you're late!) without the danger of traffic? Any ideas?
